JPaul Builders exceeded our expectations. And that is never said about builders! We’ve had plenty of experience with home builders and contractors. Maryland is our 4th state, and we’re in our 5th house.

Our project was a complete gut and some structural changes of our first level and bathroom remodeling on second level. As well as a new back porch and deck. It was a tremendous project. We moved out for over six months but stayed close by. Steven knew how to keep us on schedule by alerting us to the decisions that needed to be made timely. He was incredibly professional and proficient. Emails and texts were answered swiftly. Steven was a constant presence during and after the project completion. We can still count on him for input & advice four years later.

After all of our home renovation and new-build experiences, we can unequivocally say that JPaul is the best we have ever encountered. The project was completed timely and the follow-up was amazing. That’s the part you’ll never know about: will they live up to their warranty? YES! They did! They came right back to help resolve any surprises, and just as promptly as when they were here during the project.

As the customer, we also did our part by making decisions on a timely basis and keeping up our end of the contract. Steven could only do as much as we provided. Our advice to anyone doing a major renovation or new build: do your part to stay organized and make decisions, accept that it will be messy and unfortunate surprises are inevitable, and hire JPaul Builders!
